It is the policy of the Club to promote and encourage tennis for all age groups and levels of players and we have an active coaching policy within the Club to help players to improve their game. We therefore offer membership to all who wish to play tennis. In order to provide suitable levels of play according to age groups, ability and availability of leisure time we offer the following classes of Membership:
| full member |
Players over 18 years as at 1st April in the current
year. Open to applicants who can play to a level comparable with the current
membership of the club.

| off peak member |
Open to applicants as above who only wish to play at limited times or
those players returning to or taking up the game who wish to take up a
transition period before reaching the ability of a full member.
|
| student member |
Open
to those over 18 years of age but still in full time education.
According to individual playing abilities, applicants will be offered playing
times equivalent to either a full or Off Peak member.

| junior member |
Open to all applicants age 18 & under as at the 1st April in the current year, in 3 categories:
18 & under

10 & under |

7 & under |
| adult (parent/ guardian) & child |
Named parent/guardian - only playing with a child aged 10 years and under

| Times of play for all classes of member are
decided annually by the Committee. |
